Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Data Specialist to join our team. As an HR Data Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately entering data into our HRIS data systems, updating existing records, and performing self-audits to ensure data integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Data Entry and Management: Accurately enter data into our HRIS data systems in accordance with company procedures in a timely manner.
- Record Updates: Update existing records, input employee transactions, and personal data, including tax changes, name changes, transfers, and other relevant information.
- Data Integrity: Perform self-audits of work to ensure data integrity in the HRIS data system.
- Filing and Organization: Organize and maintain a filing system for both active and terminated employees, and assist with establishing hard copy filing methods and procedures for personnel files and I-9s.
- Audit and Compliance: Audit all employee files to ensure all required documentation is accounted for, including licensure/certification verifications, job description signatures, and new hire paperwork.
- Problem Resolution: Provide problem resolution and assistance via telephone and email to help resolve data issues, payroll assistance, and systems access.
- Reporting and Analysis: Assist with running and distributing department reports, including retro, new employees, terminations, and other relevant data.
- Experience: 2 years of data and records management experience processing employee data.
- Education: Associate's degree.
- Skills: UKG experience.
