Job Overview

The Lead Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in advancing the manufacturing processes of specialized components for coatings, unconventional machining, composites, and light assembly in the context of next-generation engine initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance manufacturing methodologies for classified products.
  • Guide and provide technical oversight for projects that significantly impact business operations.
  • Design and innovate tooling solutions.
  • Offer technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers within the department.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of projects and capture lessons learned.
  • Analyze data using quality tools to make informed recommendations.
  • Safeguard the company's intellectual property rights.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, is required. Alternatively, candidates with a high school diploma or GED and at least 10 years of experience in related fields will also be considered.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens without dual citizenship and possess the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers will depend on the ability to secure authorization for access to such information from the U.S. Government.
