Contract Type: Long Term

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Shopfloor Windows Engineer to support our manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong presence on-site to facilitate the building and testing of configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain a physical presence in the Cincinnati area for configuration tasks.
  2. Utilize hands-on expertise with Microsoft LTSC.
  3. Demonstrate at least 5 years of practical experience in a shopfloor setting.
  4. Implement both native and hybrid join solutions, leveraging practical experience.
  5. Employ PowerShell for various scripting and automation tasks.
  6. Package applications for deployment across the shopfloor.
  7. Manage and configure InTune for device management.
  8. Establish new SFLD profiles tailored for different sites.
  9. Participate in DT Site Lead Calls to discuss site-specific issues.
  10. Adapt functional accounts for MCE utilization.
  11. Conduct patch testing and evaluate monthly OS patch success.
  12. Troubleshoot minor site issues as well as significant P1 incidents.
  13. Request and manage new Proxy PAC files as needed.
  14. Collaborate with the imaging team for system image testing.
  15. Edit and enhance documentation related to SFLD imaging processes.
  16. Present updated documentation for the new MediaCreator.
  17. Analyze and propose new firewall rules for SFLD clients.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess a robust background in Windows systems engineering within a manufacturing context, with a proven track record of effective problem-solving and technical proficiency.
