Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales for Corporate & Leisure, your primary responsibilities will encompass the following:

  1. Deliver consistently professional, warm, and engaging service.
  2. Provide prompt and courteous assistance to both internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Achieve sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  4. Proactively seek corporate business through strategic planning and execution.
  5. Establish pricing parameters, quotes, and negotiate terms, ensuring confirmation through written agreements.
  6. Engage in tradeshows, conventions, and promotional activities as necessary.
  7. Maintain detailed records of accounts, contacts, activities, and business information using appropriate software.
  8. Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure contract details are fulfilled and guests leave satisfied.
  9. Prepare comprehensive reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis as required.
  10. Balance operational, administrative, and team needs effectively.
  11. Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
  12. Comply with all safety regulations.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. Demonstrated experience in sales is essential.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications and/or relevant software.
  3. A degree in a related field is preferred.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Highly dependable and responsible.
  7. Ability to maintain focus on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous.
