About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer, Data to join our team at S&P Global. As a key member of our Compliance and Risk function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of data and technology risks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on data and technology compliance and regulatory matters, ensuring alignment with global standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Data and Technology Organization to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the integrity and security of our data assets.
  • Develop and implement effective data governance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective management of data and technology risks, including the development of risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on data and technology compliance and risk management, ensuring a culture of compliance and risk awareness.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging regulatory requirements and industry trends, ensuring our organization remains compliant and competitive.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a compliance, control, or data governance role, preferably in a highly regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of data and technology governance and processes, including data management, security, and compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and technology issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
