About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Project Manager to join our team at Rose International. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the implementation of our Data Plan and ensuring the effective management of data risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data governance strategies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Chief Data Offices, Markets, and other Data teams, to identify and address data risk and governance issues.
  • Design and implement data risk management frameworks and tools to support business operations and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain data risk metrics and dashboards to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate training and socialization of data risk and governance initiatives to ensure adoption and understanding across the organization.
  • Contribute to the development of data risk taxonomy and sub-risk stripes to support risk management and reporting.
  • Provide recommendations and guidance to Risk & Controls, Operational Risk Management, Compliance, and other stakeholders on data risk and governance matters.
  • Participate in forums and working groups to drive the improvement of data risk and governance practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience in data governance, risk management, and project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to understand complex data risk and governance issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data methodologies and frameworks, as well as fundamental data terminology.
  • Experience with data process flows, business operations, risk and control, and support and control areas within a large organization.
  • Ability to coordinate with numerous stakeholders to drive changes and understand process impact on various change and BAU data-related topics.
  • Knowledge of global markets trading products, including Fixed Income, Equity, Currencies, and Commodities.
  • Good change and BAU management skills, with ability to gain consensus among teams and drive initiatives to completion effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, as well as ability to understand where remediation needs to be implemented when issues arise.
  • Ability to coordinate with other data management roles and understand processes, products, related data, and reports.
  • Hands-on practitioner expertise in implementing operational processes and business requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively produce documentation and communicate with colleagues at different levels of seniority.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
