Restoration Planning Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restoration Planning Project Manager to join our team in Connecticut. As a key member of our conservation team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and permitting of restoration projects in coastal areas.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning and implementation of restoration projects, including technical design documentation and permitting in coastal zones.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and grant agreements.
- Collaborate with state and federal agencies, municipal entities, non-profit organizations, community groups, academic institutions, and the public to advance conservation goals.
- Organize and facilitate public information sessions and workshops, and manage community liaisons to ensure effective community engagement.
- Develop and maintain project websites, and create public-facing project materials to communicate project goals and progress.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as natural resource management, environmental science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in natural resource management or a related field, with a focus on restoration planning and project management.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with state and federal permitting, and knowledge of current trends and practices in conservation and natural resource preservation.
