Hospitality Server

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Coordinator to join our team at Wooden Paddle. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Event Management: Manage the catering team and the flow of the entire event from beginning to end.
- Guest Experience: Ensure that all guests have an exceptional experience, with a focus on exceptional service and attention to detail.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the catering team to deliver high-quality service and results.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with event planners, clients, and team members to ensure seamless event execution.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in events.
- Leadership: 2+ years in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably as Event Captain, Banquet Captain, or Lead Server.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Licenses: Valid driver's license and sole access to a personal vehicle.
- Certifications: Basset Certification and Servsafe Food Handler Certificate.
- Competitive Pay: $24 - $32 / hr, depending on relevant experience, plus tips at select events.
- Flexible Scheduling: Part-time and temporary position, with a known event schedule in advance.
