Hospitality Server

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Coordinator to join our team at Wooden Paddle. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events and providing exceptional service to our guests.

• Event Management: Coordinate and manage the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring that all logistical details are taken care of.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of catering staff to provide exceptional service and ensure that all events are executed to the highest standard.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and vendors to ensure that all events are tailored to meet the client's needs and expectations.
• Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve any issues that may arise during events, ensuring that the client's experience is not compromised.

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in events.
• Leadership: 2+ years of experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably as Event Captain, Banquet Captain, or Lead Server.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications: Basset Certification and Servsafe Food Handler Certificate.

• Competitive Pay: $24 - $32 per hour, depending on relevant experience, plus tips at select events.
