WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY ENTAIL?

As a Catering and Event Supervisor, you will serve as our on-site representative, overseeing the catering team and managing event operations from inception to completion.

Pay:

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $24 to $32, based on experience, with additional tips available at select events.

Work Schedule:

This is a PART-TIME and TEMPORARY role. Our peak season spans several months, with events primarily scheduled on weekends. The event calendar is organized well in advance, allowing you to choose shifts that align with your availability.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Essential qualifications include:

  • Minimum age of 21
  • Availability for at least 2 weekends per month
  • Over 5 years of experience in hospitality, particularly in event management
  • A leadership background of at least 2 years in hospitality, ideally as an Event Supervisor, Banquet Supervisor, or Lead Server
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
  • Basset Certification and Servsafe Food Handler Certificate

Wooden Paddle operates as a dual restaurant and catering service. Our specialty lies in communal, wood-fired comfort cuisine and innovative cocktails. We transport our complete kitchen, including a mobile wood-fired oven, and a custom cocktail bar to various events across the region. While we maintain a relaxed atmosphere, we prioritize excellence in our food, beverages, and customer service.
