Compensation: $112,300 - $162,500

A distinguished global legal firm is in search of a Senior Litigation Paralegal to enhance their Complex Litigation and Arbitration Practice Group. This position demands a seasoned professional with comprehensive expertise in the litigation process to provide critical assistance to attorneys.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver services in a cost-effective and efficient manner, ensuring the firm can collect fees for services rendered.
  • Meet a target of 1,725 billable hours annually, in accordance with firm standards.
  • Under attorney guidance, organize, prepare, and interpret intricate legal documents, maintain databases and files, and oversee document distribution.
  • Organize, review, and maintain case files, compile documents for court submissions, and manage confidential client information utilizing eDiscovery tools and extranets.
  • Conduct electronic document reviews, coordinate document productions, and perform searches of production databases.
  • Assist attorneys with deposition preparation and conduct factual research using internal and external databases.
  • Coordinate trial preparation, attend trials, and provide on-site support at court and agency hearings, including managing logistics and travel arrangements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize processes and meet departmental requirements.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members as necessary.
  • Be prepared to work overtime and travel as needed.
  • Manage additional projects as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Expertise with transcript management tools (e.g., LiveNote) and online legal research resources (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw).
  • Familiarity with PACER, CM/ECF, and other electronic court databases.
  • Thorough understanding of litigation procedures, eDiscovery platforms, and legal billing processes.
  • Competence in timekeeping and expense reporting applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal is required.
  • Experience in arbitration and trials is required, with appellate practice experience preferred.
