Position Summary

The Litigation Paralegal position is designed to provide essential support to Attorneys within the Litigation Practice Group. This role involves close collaboration with the Director of Litigation Technology and Support, primarily focusing on paralegal duties in a dynamic office environment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the document production workflow, which includes gathering materials, ensuring proper chain of custody, and document preparation
  • Performing in-depth research, analyzing legal documents, and synthesizing information
  • Coordinating the preparation and submission of legal briefs and documents, while liaising with various stakeholders
  • Managing litigation support systems and preparing witnesses for depositions
  • Facilitating trial preparation and providing trial support, including vendor management and resource allocation
Qualifications and Experience
  • A Bachelor's Degree or an ABA-approved paralegal certificate is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing litigation support for trial offices
  • Familiarity with legal software and document management tools
  • Strong communication, organizational, and planning abilities
  • A proactive mindset with the capacity to engage in hands-on tasks as necessary
Desired Skills
  • Experience in complex litigation and proficiency with litigation support software
  • A proven track record of suggesting and implementing process enhancements
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and management skills
  • Creativity, initiative, and readiness to travel or work extended hours when required
