Administrative Professional

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Professional to join our team. This role involves providing administrative support to attorneys and contributing to the efficient operation of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Documents: Utilizing word processing and document management software, prepare and process correspondence, memoranda, and complex legal documents according to established requirements.
- Calendar Maintenance: Ensure accurate and up-to-date calendars for assigned attorneys, encompassing meetings, appointments, due dates, and client-related activities.
- File Organization: Organize and maintain both paper and electronic files in compliance with internal policies.
- Time Entry Submission: Prepare and submit time entries for assigned attorneys in a timely manner.
- General Support: Process new matter documents, handle phone calls, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience as a practice assistant or legal secretary
- Detailed knowledge of legal terminology, documents, and processes
- Accurate typing skills of at least 70 words per minute
- Proficiency in MS Office, document management, time entry, e-filing, and database software
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Excellent organizational skills, including filing, calendaring, and proofreading
- Effectiveness in time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Predictable attendance
Salary Information: The estimated annual salary range for this position is $49,600 - $87,500.
