We're seeking a talented Inside Sales Rep to join our team at United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider. As a key customer contact and consultant, you'll play a vital role in recommending solutions, quoting, selling, and fulfilling orders for our equipment and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process rental quotations, reservations, and contracts with precision and attention to detail.
  • Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers with exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies in accordance with pricing policies and procedures.
  • Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer expectations regarding delivery with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Generate leads for new business and communicate leads with Outside Sales Representatives to drive sales growth.
  • Warm call on lost and/or dormant accounts to retain business and maintain a strong customer base.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable showroom, sufficiently stocked with merchandise to showcase our products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of our branch.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record to operate company vehicles.
