Leader Insurance is redefining the agency experience by integrating modern technology and a client-focused approach typically associated with Fintech and Insuretech companies. Our utilization of Vertafore's open API technology enhances the service we provide to both our clients and team members.
We are currently in search of a licensed Personal Insurance Sales Consultant to collaborate closely with our residential lending team on internal new purchase referrals. This role offers both a salary and commission structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Address customer inquiries regarding new insurance policies and provide guidance on their insurance requirements.
- Facilitate the placement of new business with carriers, ensuring alignment with member needs and agency profitability.
- Educate clients on coverage options, limitations, exclusions, and the various insurance products and processes available.
- Complete new business applications and ensure a smooth transition for new insurance clients to the service team.
- Adopt a consultative approach to offer expertise on carriers, coverage, products, systems, and procedures.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Qualifications
- Property/casualty producer's license is required.
- 1 to 4 years of experience in a personal insurance sales capacity.
- Familiarity with rating and underwriting personal lines products.
- Knowledge of property and casualty products as well as agency carriers.
- Experience within an agency setting is preferred.
