Key Responsibilities- Provide Preventative Care: Conduct thorough examinations, administer vaccinations, and provide preventative care to ensure the health and well-being of our patients.
- Diagnose and Treat Conditions: Accurately diagnose and treat a range of medical conditions, from minor illnesses to complex diseases, using your expertise and knowledge of veterinary medicine.
- Communicate with Clients: Educate clients on their pets' health, provide guidance on preventative care, and ensure they are informed and involved in their pet's treatment plan.
- Collaborate with the Veterinary Team: Work closely with our veterinary team to ensure seamless care and communication with clients, and to provide exceptional patient outcomes.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Continuing Education: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and to maintain your professional certifications.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or Equivalent Degree: A degree in veterinary medicine from an accredited institution is required.
- State Veterinary Board License: A valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of employment is required.
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) License: A DEA license is required for the handling and administration of controlled substances.
- Basic Surgical Skills: Proven ability to perform basic surgeries, including the use of standard medical instruments and equipment.
