- Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Work Order Management: Manage and prioritize work orders, ensuring that all maintenance and repair tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an adequate inventory of tools and supplies, ensuring that the maintenance team has everything they need to perform their duties.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance and repair work is performed in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with the maintenance team, property managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all maintenance and repair needs are met.
- Education and Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a residential apartment setting or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: A Certified Pool Operators License, Type II EPA Refrigerant Certification, and Special Boiler's License are required within 6 months of hire.
- Skills and Abilities: Fluent in English, skilled in oral and written communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills.
The Maintenance Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. The role will involve working on-site, including climbing stairs and walking the hallways and common areas.
Personal Protective Equipment: Safety gloves, safety eyewear, ear plugs, Yaktrax, and lockout/tagout kit are required.
