Road Supervisor

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Road Supervisor to join our team at Transdev in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
About the Role:As a Road Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Communicating job requirements and responsibilities to drivers
- Taking responsibility for day-to-day scheduling, counseling, and evaluation reports to local management
- Conducting on-the-scene accident investigations and assisting drivers in preparing accident reports, OSHA reports, and safety violation documents
- Designing and delivering driver training and safety courses, training new drivers, and retraining those involved in accidents
- Observing drivers on the road and correcting safety problems on the scene while documenting violations
- Liaising between drivers and clients and organization in customer service issues
- Evaluating and monitoring driver safety and performance, as well as compliance in legal, employment, and labor policy matters
- Assisting the Safety Manager with DOT/FTA compliance regarding drug testing and recordkeeping
- Assisting in dispatching, driving, interviewing, and miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed
- Meeting all driver qualifications at the location
- Obtaining a CDL required to operate vehicles at the location and driving routes periodically
- Additional duties as assigned
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Supervisory experience with hourly employees, with 2-3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiar with basic vehicle mechanical processes and maintenance
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal, written, and relational communication skills, with the ability to appropriately interact with employees of all levels, including drivers, customers, senior management, client representatives, union officials, and the general public
- Human resources and training experience
- Work extended hours regularly, including Saturdays
- Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Possess a working vehicle to travel within the service area as needed
