Director of Plant Operations

Havenwood of Burnsville is seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Plant Operations to oversee the care and maintenance of our community's physical plant.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Plant Operations Department, including interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, and counseling staff.
  • Maintain equipment, building, utilities, and grounds through an effective preventative maintenance program.
  • Arrange for maintenance contracts as necessary and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Provide timely and effective responses to service requests from residents and staff.
  • Ensure all equipment and systems function properly and safely.
  • Participate in short and long-range planning to ensure the community's physical plant and grounds are maintained in good condition.
  • Plan and manage the annual departmental budget, ensuring expenditures remain within budget allowances.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent in relevant education, training, and experience.
  • Maintenance supervisor experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
