About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to join our Named Account team at Proofpoint. As a mid-market account manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of mid-market named accounts, selling the entire Proofpoint platform, and working closely with internal and external ecosystem partners.

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling complex cybersecurity solutions, managing mid-market accounts, and developing strong relationships with customers and partners. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of mid-market named accounts and develop account plans to drive growth and revenue
  • Sell the entire Proofpoint platform to existing and new customers, working closely with internal and external ecosystem partners
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging threats to provide expert advice and guidance to customers
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of field sales experience selling complex cybersecurity solutions
  • Proven track record of success in managing mid-market accounts and developing strong relationships with customers and partners
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
