Position Summary

The Xfinity Sales Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling Comcast's range of products and services, including video, high-speed internet, voice, and XFINITY Home.

This role emphasizes both individual sales to single-family units and engaging with multiple dwelling units through partnerships with property management.

Utilizing extensive knowledge of Comcast's offerings and sales processes, the consultant will maximize sales opportunities within their designated territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibit advanced knowledge of Comcast products, actively promoting and selling to individual customers by canvassing every door within the assigned area.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitive offerings, including features, benefits, pricing, and promotional campaigns for video, high-speed internet, voice, and XFINITY Home.
  • Effectively communicate and build rapport with customers, assessing their current and potential product needs and providing tailored recommendations.
  • Enhance customer understanding of Comcast's products and pricing structures, highlighting competitive advantages over other service providers.
  • Analyze competitive offers and craft responses that emphasize the benefits of choosing Comcast.
  • Demonstrate expert selling skills reflective of the experience required for this position.
  • Independently create and implement turf management plans, employing experience-based sales techniques.
  • Exhibit confidence in sales abilities and manage time and organizational tasks efficiently.
  • Meet and exceed established sales goals, organizing daily activities and generating business through approved lead generation methods.
  • Implement effective closing techniques to ensure product installation targets are met.
  • Show a consistent record of success in residential sales environments, particularly in business-to-consumer sales.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of video, high-speed internet, voice, and XFINITY Home services.
  • Exhibit strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency with computer systems, billing platforms, and databases.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, including walking or traveling door-to-door in various weather conditions.
  • Maintain any necessary credentials or licenses required for selling and/or designing alarm systems as mandated by law.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
  • Ensure regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED required, with 2-5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
