Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with 278 million paid memberships in over 190 countries. Our members enjoy a wide variety of TV series, films, and games across multiple genres and languages. We offer a flexible viewing experience, allowing members to play, pause, and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere.

The Challenge

We recently launched an ad-supported tier to provide our members with more choice in how they consume their content. This new tier allows us to attract new members at a lower price point, while also creating a compelling path for advertisers to reach engaged audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple cross-functional programs, collaborating with product, engineering, design, and data science teams to deliver technical solutions.
  • Provide deep domain expertise to form technical strategies with engineering partners.
  • Drive engagement with cross-functional partners, decompose requirements into technical execution plans with measurable milestones, optimize scope and schedule, manage dependencies, and proactively manage risks.
  • Craft clear communication of progress toward goals, reporting status to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of technical program management experience.
  • Must have Ads domain experience.
  • Proven experience driving large-scale software projects, managing technical strategies, and building scalable solutions.
  • Deep understanding and point of view on product growth and discovery solutions.
  • Highly skilled, experienced, and enjoys orchestrating multiple programs with many moving parts and creating partnerships with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to identify gaps in solutions, debate technical approaches, and weigh in on product vs. technology tradeoffs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate business impact and technical constraints tailored to the audience.
  • Self-starter who enjoys tackling 0 to 1 problem spaces and quickly bringing organization and direction.
  • Exemplify the Netflix culture by understanding, advocating, and demonstrating its values.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including an annual salary, with the option to choose how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. Our compensation structure is based on market indicators and considers your specific job family, background, skills, and experience. The range for this role is $100,000 - $720,000.

We also provide comprehensive benefits, including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We offer paid leave of absence programs and flexible time off.
