POSITION OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate will demonstrate diligence, accuracy, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A strong problem-solving aptitude is essential for identifying issues and ensuring optimal functionality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct assembly and testing operations on air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps, service kits, and sub-assemblies.
  • Inspect assemblies for proper fit, making adjustments and replacing components as necessary.
  • Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of pumps.
  • Effectively train fellow team members on product lines.
  • Set up test stands, fixtures, and other testing equipment as needed.
  • Read and comprehend written standard work instructions, product drawings, and diagrams.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Execute other assigned duties as required.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Transport parts for assembly, testing, and completed items to the appropriate area for shipping, stocking, or rework.
  • Identify product rejects for rework or disposal and complete necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Utilize various hand tools for crimping, cutting, fastening, torquing, and measuring.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. occasionally, with movement within a manufacturing environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • General manufacturing setting.
  • Cleanroom manufacturing environment.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment or component fabrication is preferred.
