Key Responsibilities
- Execute assembly and testing tasks on heater systems, upgrade kits, modules, Teflon cells, and refurbish heater systems.
- Ensure proper assembly fit by adjusting and replacing components as necessary.
- Conduct tests and troubleshoot heater systems and modules according to established specifications.
- Rework defective systems or module assemblies, replacing parts when required.
- Set up test stands, assembly fixtures, and other testing equipment efficiently.
- Provide training to team members on product lines.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
- Transport parts for testing and completed items to designated areas for shipping or rework.
- Prepare heater systems for shipment.
- Identify product rejects for rework or disposal and complete necessary documentation.
- Engage in organizing statistical quality control measures.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Proficient in manual writing, basic computer skills, and operation of hand tools for crimping, cutting, stripping, and measuring.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and auditory, are essential.
- Visual acuity for detailed work, computer usage, and reading technical drawings.
Work Environment
- General manufacturing setting.
- Minimal chemical personal protective equipment required in certain areas.
- May involve handling hazardous materials.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a production or mechanical assembly environment, or a suitable combination of education and training.
- An Associate's Degree in Electronics or advanced technical training is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Capable of following verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Possess problem-solving skills to identify issues and ensure operational efficiency.
