We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team at Royce Industries L.C. This role involves a variety of essential responsibilities aimed at maintaining and repairing industrial cleaning equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair pressure washers, parts washers, small engines, high-pressure pumps, and water heating systems both in the workshop and during service calls.
- Prepare detailed estimates for service repairs and obtain necessary approvals from clients.
- Document all work performed on service tickets comprehensively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop areas.
- Handle deliveries and pickups as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a service environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting safety guidelines, operational instructions, and maintenance manuals.
- Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
- Basic mathematical skills for calculations.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Availability for work Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Physical Requirements:
The role requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and communicate effectively. The technician must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
