Position Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic individual to contribute to our localization efforts. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication skills, along with excellent organizational and prioritization abilities, are essential. You will collaborate with various teams and report directly to the VP of Globalization.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Oversee localization projects from inception to completion, collaborating with internal teams including Project Managers, TADs, Designers, and Quality Managers.
  • Develop and manage internal localization project plans.
  • Work with Localization Operations and Quality Managers to create and implement efficient project workflows.
  • Establish methodologies, tools, and checklists to enhance project management processes.
  • Identify and resolve localization challenges, implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Monitor and assign tasks to project team members as necessary.
  • Ensure timely delivery and high-quality outputs from the team, maintaining professionalism in client interactions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to scale projects and maintain client relationships.

Leadership:

  • Motivate team members to align with company and project objectives.
  • Encourage innovation and automation in team processes.
  • Participate in recruitment and development of team members.
  • Lead project kick-off meetings and regular cadence meetings for issue resolution.
  • Stay informed on localization trends and participate in relevant training opportunities.
  • Design and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities.
  • Provide specific training for Project Managers, TADs, and Quality Enhancement teams.
  • Train on effective time, budget, resource, and quality management.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance asset quality and production workflows.
  • Ensure team compliance with established standards and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in content localization management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in localization, internationalization, project management, or program management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of translation technologies, including translation memories and management systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across diverse time zones and cultures.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid grasp of client expectations within the localization sector.
  • Experience working with large corporate clients.
  • Proven vendor management skills, with the ability to set expectations and hold vendors accountable.
