Industrial Sales Representative

Baldwin Supply Company is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Industrial Inside Sales Representative to join our team based out of our Owatonna facility. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing and managing assigned accounts, working jointly with field salespeople to perform business development activities, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, placement of orders, and requests for prices and quotations.
- Expedite orders and requests for literature or other information.
- Responsible for complete order management, including expediting and communication with the customer.
- Describe products or services and assist customers in the selection of the best products suited to their needs.
- Quote prices, terms of sales, availability, delivery dates, and related information and process orders.
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of Inside Sales and/or distribution experience; College Degree preferred.
- Experience in working with Field Sales and executing sales campaigns.
- Experience in selling industrial products such as Bearings, Belts, Chains, Electric Motors, Gear Reducers, etc.
- Experience with implementing incentive plans to increase sales & improve profitability.
- Effective selling strategies and techniques.
- Meeting sales goals & growing sales.
Delivers superior customer service, effective selling strategies and techniques, excellent communication skills, capable of analyzing issues and developing solutions, problem-solving & analytical ability, ability to be creative and innovative, excellent judgment and decision-making ability, organizational and time management skills, ability to retain product and process knowledge, accuracy & attention to detail, confidence and professionalism in representing the Company, willingness to be a team player, and understands product numbers & alpha/numeric codes.
