Job Summary:
The Nobel Biocare Territory Representative is responsible for achieving or exceeding sales and service goals within their assigned territory, primarily in dental clinics and/or laboratories. This role involves effective selling and promoting of Nobel Biocare products, solutions, and services to existing and potential new customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sales plan to access customer needs and present appropriate products and solutions.
- Analyze and assess customer and territory sales trends to plan sales activity and ensure territory goals are met.
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers to strengthen relationships and ensure satisfaction with products and services.
- Identify and contact prospective customers to develop and implement creative strategies for converting them to new customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key thought leaders to expand market share.
- Manage accurate customer files and records to share information among the organization.
- Report product issues, loss of key customers, or competitive sales strategies that affect local sales.
- Stay informed on products, technologies, clinical studies, and competitive activity to apply knowledge in strategies and tactics.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of company policies and procedures to implement them at the territory level.
- Establish and maintain a travel schedule to contact existing and potential customers.
- Manage the assigned geographical territory within the allocated expense budget.
- Complete administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
- Participate in trade shows and company meetings as appropriate.
Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience in the medical or dental industry considered.
- 3+ years of achievement-oriented sales or clinical experience; dental or medical device experience a plus.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must live within the territory.
Preferred Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and verbalize technical product and clinical information.
- Professional sales skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Travel/Location:
- Laptop, iPad, iPhone, and company allowance provided.
- All business expenses reimbursed.
- Eligible for incentive trip and other company-sponsored promotional activities.
- Geography: Southern Minnesota.
- Key cities: Owatonna, Mankato, Rochester.
- Overnight Travel: Up to 15%.
