Job Description

The Nobel Biocare Territory Representative is responsible for driving sales and service growth within their assigned territory, primarily in dental clinics and/or laboratories. This role involves effectively promoting and selling Nobel Biocare products, solutions, and services to existing and potential customers, while adhering to organizational policies and directives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets, focusing on customer needs and preferences.
  2. Analyze sales trends and customer behavior to inform sales activities and ensure territory goals are met.
  3. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction with Nobel Biocare products and services.
  4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing creative strategies to convert prospective customers from competitors.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with key thought leaders to expand market share.
  6. Manage customer files and records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  7. Report product issues, customer losses, or competitive strategies that impact local sales to management.
  8. Stay informed about products, technologies, and market trends to inform sales strategies.
  9. Comply with company policies and procedures, demonstrating the ability to implement them effectively at the territory level.
  10. Establish a travel schedule to maintain consistent customer contact, following sales plans and logical routing.
  11. Manage territory expenses within allocated budgets.
  12. Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
  13. Participate in trade shows and company meetings as required.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the medical or dental industry.
  2. 3+ years of achievement-oriented sales or clinical experience, preferably in dental or medical devices.
  3. Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  4. Residency within the assigned territory.
Preferred Experience
  1. Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate complex product and clinical information.
  2. Professional sales skills, including verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Travel and Location

Nobel Biocare provides a laptop, iPad, iPhone, and company allowance. Business expenses are reimbursed, and the candidate is eligible for incentive trips and company-sponsored promotional activities. The territory covers Southern Minnesota, with key cities including Owatonna, Mankato, and Rochester. Overnight travel is up to 15%.
