Position Overview

The Electrical Assembler is responsible for executing tasks related to the assembly of electrical components and sub-components in the final production of equipment for our esteemed brands. This role involves maintaining, testing, and repairing industrial machinery, requiring a solid electrical aptitude to produce high-quality parts and assemblies. The position reports directly to the Team Leader and is based in our assembly facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, or blueprints to ascertain material requirements and assembly instructions;
  • Install piping, fixtures, and electrical components using hand tools and welding equipment;
  • Align and position components for assembly;
  • Repair or replace damaged parts or assemblies as necessary;
  • Conduct quality inspections on products and components;
  • Test completed products to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications;
  • Manufacture precision parts involved in assemblies and sub-assemblies;
  • Communicate progress and challenges to the team leader professionally;
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment through regular cleaning practices;
  • Exhibit a positive team spirit and strong work ethic;
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED; vocational training is preferred;
  • Typically requires three to ten years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in electrical work;
  • Moderate knowledge of general manufacturing processes with strong mechanical and electrical skills;
  • Basic mathematical proficiency;
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and established guidelines;
  • Work effectively under moderate supervision;
  • Adaptability to change and ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Collaborate with management to analyze assembly efficiency;
  • Demonstrate a mission-focused approach with a sense of urgency;
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement;
  • Proficiency in using PCs.
