Job Overview

As a Front Desk Agent with Ava Hotels LLC, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This includes checking-in and checking-out guests in a timely and professional manner, processing all payments according to established procedures, and responding to guest requests and issues in a prompt and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
  • Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner, up-sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue, and accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures.
  • Issue, control, and release guest safe-deposit boxes, communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management, and respond appropriately to guest complaints.
  • May routinely book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups, process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes, and promote team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent, plus one year front desk/guest service experience. Some college preferred.
  • Must speak fluent English, and other languages preferred.
  • Ability to perform the following: frequently standing up behind the desk and front office areas, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds, handling objects, products, and computer equipment, and using a keyboard to operate various property management and reservations systems.

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $10-12 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include employee discount, paid time off after one year of service, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The work schedule includes 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
