Position Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive construction efforts to ensure that projects are executed safely and align with the established design, budget, and timeline. This role involves collaboration with client representatives, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to and actively promote all safety protocols and procedures, including the reporting of accidents, incidents, and near-misses to uphold our primary core value - Safety first in all operations.
  • Collaborate with the Estimating Department to review project specifications.
  • Work alongside the Project Engineer and Superintendent to develop and maintain a project schedule with the necessary attributes.
  • Prepare initial documentation such as submittals, introductory letters, subcontractor approvals, and affirmative action documents.
  • Create a submittal log, project organization chart, and material storage plan.
  • Initiate project startup and closeout processes, ensuring all project files are organized and maintained.
  • Authorize the budget prior to the commencement of construction activities.
  • Manage all aspects of cost control for the project.
  • Provide quarterly cost revisions with explanations for any variances.
  • Submit monthly change order logs to the regional office.
  • Coordinate and direct all project activities with the Project Superintendent/General Superintendent to ensure milestones are achieved and job continuity is preserved.
  • Conduct weekly project meetings.
  • Prepare and review periodic estimates with the owner's representative and submit approved estimates to the regional office.
  • Participate in final inspections and closeout meetings, ensuring all final documentation is completed.
  • Maintain communication with the project Owner and Architect/Engineer to facilitate the reduction of retainage and final payments.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in the civil construction sector.
  • Proficient in budget management, scheduling, quality control, and comprehensive knowledge of all construction phases.
  • OSHA 10 Certification is required.
