The Outside Plant Construction Supervisor plays a crucial role in the effective planning, execution, and finalization of wireline outside plant construction initiatives. This position entails the coordination of all project-related activities, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring that projects are completed punctually, within financial constraints, and adhering to the highest quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement detailed project strategies, encompassing resource distribution, timelines, and financial planning.
  • Establish and nurture robust customer relationships, serving as the primary point of contact between the organization and its clients.
  • Oversee project scope, recognize modifications, and execute necessary changes to meet project goals.
  • Supervise construction team operations, guaranteeing compliance with project schedules and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate effective project execution and optimal resource management.
  • Track project advancement, pinpoint potential challenges, and devise contingency plans.
  • Ensure adherence to all pertinent safety regulations, permits, and industry standards.
  • Produce precise and timely updates on project status, financial outcomes, and essential performance indicators.
  • Foster and maintain strong connections with local authorities and other pertinent stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years' experience in managing wireline (fiber/copper) outside plant construction projects.
  • A proven history of delivering projects successfully within budgetary and scheduling parameters.
  • Exceptional skills in customer relationship management and communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel capabilities (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
  • Ability to analyze data effectively and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing Google Drive and Sheets.
  • Familiarity with Quick Base or comparable project management tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of outside plant construction methodologies and industry best practices.
  • This role necessitates regular engagement with clients and team members, with the possibility of occasional evening or weekend commitments.
