Position Overview

The Construction Operations Leader is responsible to the Executive and/or Regional Leadership for aiding in the formulation and execution of the BURG business strategy. This role represents the assigned BURG on the Regional Leadership Team and is accountable for the success of BURG, including the attainment of SQP objectives and profit benchmarks. The leader will guide Project Teams to meet specific project targets and contribute to the development and execution of both BURG and company-wide initiatives, while also fostering the growth of team members and engaging in regional business development and strategic planning. Safety within the assigned BURG is paramount, and the leader will promote a culture of Incident and Injury Free (IIF) practices.

Key Responsibilities

The Construction Operations Leader will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas to perform their duties safely, productively, and effectively:

  • Formulates the Assigned BURG Business Strategy
  • Guides Project Teams to Meet Specific Project Targets
  • Ensures Achievement of Business Objectives
  • Accountable for Profitability of Projects and/or Assigned BURG
  • Directs and/or Supervises Staff within the Assigned Region
  • Responsible for Project and BURG Safety and Risk Management Protocols
  • Ensures a Safe Working Environment
  • Participates in Training and Certification Programs

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and 15 years of experience in the construction industry, or 20 years of construction-related experience with 10 years in construction business management.
