Job Title: Therapeutic Program Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Program Worker to join our team at the Columbus Developmental Center. As a Therapeutic Program Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their goals and living fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living skills, such as eating, bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  • Implement active treatment activities, including gym, pavilion, and pool activities.
  • Assist with planning and shopping activities, such as vocational skills and hair appointments.
  • Complete daily, monthly documentation, including reporting any unusual incidents or reactions to medication.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties in living areas.
  • Assist with redirecting unsafe actions to bring about positive outcomes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with less than 6 points.
  • No experience required.
