The Role

Autodesk is seeking a Lead Finance Business Partner to join our Customer Success Finance team. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Finance Director of the Enterprise Customer Success division and serve as the primary financial partner to the Senior Director of Enterprise Customer Success for the AMER region.

Your strategic insights and quantitative analysis will be crucial in steering business decisions for the Enterprise Customer Success team in AMER. You will need to demonstrate exceptional collaboration abilities, financial expertise, and a keen business sense, all while fulfilling your fiduciary responsibilities as a finance professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting and Forecasting: Provide precise quarterly revenue and expense forecasts.
  • Risk Assessment: Continuously monitor key performance indicators to identify and address potential financial risks.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulations.
  • Process Optimization: Suggest and implement improvements to existing processes.
  • Strategic Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of professional services offerings.
  • Usage Forecasting: Anticipate product usage trends for Enterprise Business clients.
  • Customer Success Metrics Evaluation: Extract insights from metrics related to product usage and value delivery.
  • Price-Quantity Mix Analysis: Analyze customer-level data to uncover programmatic relationships.
  • Client Analysis: Examine the correlation between service utilization and product adoption among clients.
  • Ad-hoc Financial Analysis: Provide tailored analyses to assist business partners in understanding the financial ramifications of their decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA designation preferred.
  • At least 12 years of relevant experience in finance or business analysis.
  • Prior experience in a technology, software, or SaaS environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of finance functions, including revenue accounting and compliance.
  • Proficient in forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor team members.
  • Strong grasp of business drivers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated individual with strong business acumen and intuition for proactive stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to adapt and maintain high-quality standards in a dynamic environment.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting and manage tight deadlines.

Salary Transparency

Our competitive compensation package includes a starting base salary range for U.S.-based roles between $124,700 and $201,740, with offers reflecting the candidate's experience and location. In addition to base salaries, we emphasize annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a robust benefits package.
