The Chief Operations Executive is instrumental in strategizing, directing, coordinating, and managing the operational activities of all existing facilities within the organization. This role encompasses ensuring adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards while leading a dedicated team of approximately 375 professionals across 22 terminal sites nationwide.

  • Provides strategic leadership to terminal and customer service operations
  • Ensures the creation and execution of effective systems to fulfill organizational requirements
  • Aims to surpass customer satisfaction benchmarks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees Directors of Operations and the Vice President of Health, Safety, and Environmental
  • Accountable for staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
  • Collaborates with Human Resources to guarantee compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Reviews financial statements, billing, and tank usage reports on a monthly basis
  • Develops annual operational budgets for each terminal
  • Monitors capital expenditures and suggests budgetary adjustments
  • Analyzes data to mitigate challenges and enhance opportunities
  • Prepares management reports and engages with stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Travels to terminal locations regularly and participates in mandatory training sessions
  • Supports team initiatives and Environmental, Social, and Governance objectives

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in terminal, refinery, chemical manufacturing, or logistics
  • Knowledge of project management principles
  • Skilled in reading, analyzing, and interpreting various documents
  • Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail
  • Adept at budget creation and monitoring, with effective interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in computer applications and relevant software
  • Experience in staff management and problem-solving

Work Environment:

  • Regular exposure to moderate noise levels and physical demands as outlined
  • Travel by air and automobile may be required up to 50% of the time
  • Position based at the Corporate Headquarters
