Job Summary:

As a Front Office Manager at Vail Resorts, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel's Front Office, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and that the hotel meets its revenue goals. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Front Office team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue and expenses.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve hotel operations.
Requirements:
  • HS diploma required, College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Two Years of hospitality experience in a property of similar size and quality.
  • Multi-department experience (entry or leadership roles) (eg. Housekeeping, front office, Concierge, F&B).
  • Iqware PMS, Hotel Management systems experience.
  • Microsoft office (excel, word, outlook etc).
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex correspondence in english.
  • Ability to effectively present details information both verbally and written forms to guests, fellow leaders, team members throughout organization in Englsh.
  • Bi-lingual; Spanish preferred.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours while consistently bending and lifting.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
  • Ability to safely work with hazardous and caustic chemicals.
