Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CPU Design Verification Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our hardware design team, you will be responsible for verifying the functionality and correctness of our CPU designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with architecture and RTL designers to ensure the design meets the required specifications.
  • Develop and lead test plans and test environments to verify the design's functionality.
  • Design and develop complex tests in assembly, C, or vectors to ensure the design's correctness.
  • Analyze coverage to ensure all test cases are covered and develop coverage monitors as needed.
  • Develop checkers or C-base transactors to verify the design's functionality.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Deep knowledge of digital logic design, chip architecture, and microarchitecture.
  • Experience with developing test plans, testbenches, C-based transactors, and writing/debugging assembly-based tests.
  • Experience with advanced verification techniques such as formal and assertions is a plus.
  • Experience in silicon bringup is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
