CPU Clock Implementation Specialist

At Apple, we're committed to innovation and excellence in all aspects of our business. As a CPU Clock Implementation Engineer, you will play a key role in driving the planning, design, implementation, and analysis of clock systems for our cutting-edge hardware products.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in clock planning, building simulation models, and physical implementation
Conduct clock analysis and develop power grid methodologies and implementation
Engage in physical design of blocks and scripting to automate tasks and improve efficiency
Requirements
Minimum BS and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
Experience with industry standard practices in physical design, analysis, and physical verification on large processor or SOC designs
Experience in developing and implementing powergrid and clock specifications
Experience in low power design, physical construction, Spice, EM/IR-Drop/Noise, SIGEM analysis, formal verification, physical verification, and DFM
Experience in CMOS circuit design
Experience with extraction and STA methodology and tools
Experience with scripting languages such as Perl/Tcl
Preferred Qualifications
Layout design background is a plus
Working knowledge of computer architecture
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well in a team, problem solver, and self-motivated
