Intelligence Gathering and Cyber Operations Specialist

The Army National Guard is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to fill the role of Signals Intelligence Analyst. As part of this team, you will play a critical role in collecting and analyzing foreign signals to support the Guard's defense strategies.
As a Signals Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for intercepting and analyzing foreign communications, relaying intelligence reports, and studying radio signals to understand the tactics and organization of foreign military forces.
Your key duties will include:
- Maintaining analytical working aids and databases
- Assisting in the emplacement, camouflage, and recovery of surveillance systems
- Preparing technical and tactical intelligence reports
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong interest in working with radio equipment, enjoy finding clues that help answer questions, and be able to remain alert during repetitive tasks.
Through your training, you will develop the skills and experience to enjoy a civilian career with government agencies like the NSA, FBI, and CIA, or other companies in private electronics and communication.
In the Army National Guard, you will have the opportunity to learn valuable job skills while earning a regular paycheck and qualifying for tuition assistance. Your job training will consist of 10 weeks of Basic Training and 18 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT), which includes practice in operating radio equipment.

The estimated salary for this role is between $44,000 and $56,000 per year, depending on location and experience. To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
- Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
- Must meet citizenship requirements
