Position Overview:
The Branch Chief of the Simulation and Integration Branch is tasked with overseeing and directing the professional, technical, and administrative operations of a highly skilled team of engineers and scientists.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction for a technical staff engaged in customer-funded research and development, systems development, and technical support.
- Develop, plan, and manage simulation and integration projects and programs. Clearly define and communicate the objectives of the Branch.
- Engage in strategic decision-making and coordinate technical efforts with internal and external stakeholders.

Resource Management:
- Conduct resource planning, prioritization, budgeting, execution, and reporting to fulfill Army requirements and deliver innovative technologies and solutions to internal partners, Army Program Managers, Cross-Functional Teams, and external clients.

Client Engagement:
- Maintain relationships with existing customers, identify new opportunities, and create proposals, statements of work, and funding agreements to secure financial support for the Branch.

Team Development:
- Supervise and manage team assignments, performance evaluations, training, and team-building initiatives to foster a productive and skilled workforce.
- Address employee grievances and implement disciplinary or performance-related actions as necessary.

Communication and Mentorship:
- Maintain consistent communication with the Division Chief and Chief Engineer/Scientist to ensure alignment with the Modeling and Simulation Division's mission.
- Provide mentorship to subordinate personnel and assist in identifying training needs for the Branch.

Qualifications:
- Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and possess specialized experience equivalent to the DB-03 pay band (GS-13/14 level) in the Federal Service.
- Experience must include planning and leading teams in complex modeling and simulation projects, developing customer relationships, and preparing technical documentation.
