Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at League School for Autism. As a Relief Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our students with autism and other special needs.

Job Summary:

The Relief Nurse will be responsible for administering medications, providing general nursing care, and supporting the health and well-being of our students. This is a part-time position, requiring evening and weekend work.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Provide general nursing care, including vital sign monitoring and wound care
  • Support students with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff to ensure seamless care
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree or LPN Diploma from an accredited school
  • Current Massachusetts registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing
  • Experience working with children and/or individuals with disabilities
  • Minimum of two years' nursing experience, including general nursing and medication administration
