POSITION SUMMARY:

The Accounting Leadership Role is responsible for guiding the formulation and execution of an organization's financial policies and procedures. This position holds overall accountability for designated accounting functions and systems, alongside related analysis and report generation.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for international operations.
  • Provide guidance on GAAP for technical accounting and external financial reporting.
  • Oversee and enhance internal control mechanisms.
  • Support the establishment of standardized processes throughout the global organization.
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process.
  • Investigate accounting issues to ensure compliance with GAAP.
  • Guarantee the implementation of appropriate cost accounting standards across the organization.
  • Act as the primary finance representative during ERP implementation across the organization.
  • Promote uniform master data management throughout the organization.
  • Serve as a point of contact for external auditors.
  • Assist in mergers and acquisitions activities.
  • Engage in special projects, system enhancements, or ad-hoc analyses.
  • Develop process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and team productivity.
  • Provide support for the Controller as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exceptional analytical, technological, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in accounting or finance, with public accounting experience being highly regarded.
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Professional accreditation such as CPA or CMA is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of system implementations and ERP design is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with cost accounting principles is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Pivot Tables and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Dedication to meeting business deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Capacity to anticipate and plan work effectively.
  • Experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Education and Training

A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required. Professional accreditation such as CPA or CMA is preferred. A strong understanding of system implementations and ERP design is also advantageous.
