Key Responsibilities- Answer phones and handle calls in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule appointments for audiologists and confirm for the next day
- Accurately enter patient demographic information into the computer
- Verify insurance verbally and online
- Check-in patients, collect co-pays, and verify referrals
- Pull or create charts, prepare paperwork for patient appointments
- Prepare and mail reports to patients
- Perform other general office support and clerical duties as assigned
- Professional and caring customer service skills
- Proper phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to effectively handle details with accuracy
- Flexible, organized, and motivated to learn
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
