About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Front Office Assistant to join our team at The Learning Center for the Deaf. As a key member of our Audiology Clinic, you will provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and handle calls in a professional and friendly manner
  • Schedule appointments for audiologists and confirm for the next day
  • Accurately enter patient demographic information into the computer
  • Verify insurance verbally and online
  • Check-in patients, collect co-pays, and verify referrals
  • Pull or create charts, prepare paperwork for patient appointments
  • Prepare and mail reports to patients
  • Perform other general office support and clerical duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Professional and caring customer service skills
  • Proper phone etiquette
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively handle details with accuracy
  • Flexible, organized, and motivated to learn
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
