Position Overview:
The HR Support Specialist role at FirstService Residential is designed to deliver comprehensive HR assistance to associates across the South Region, addressing a variety of inquiries in accordance with established protocols.
This position operates under a hybrid work model, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities based on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries, ensuring clear communication and effective problem-solving.
- Assist in managing incoming HR requests and concerns, providing timely support.
- Follow up with associates to ensure their issues are resolved and feedback is provided.
- Identify and investigate HR-related challenges, offering appropriate solutions.
- Monitor and direct inquiries to the appropriate channels, escalating unresolved issues as necessary.
- Adhere to company service standards while responding to all inquiries.
- Support the operation of the HR Help Desk, acting as a key resource for employee questions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all inquiries, ensuring proper closure.
- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all employee information.
Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or equivalent, along with two years of relevant experience in Human Resources or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Strong administrative skills with a focus on customer service.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with strong internet research skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Capacity to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
- Adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
