Job Overview

Midwest Petroleum Equipment LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Petroleum Service Technician. This role is essential for maintaining and enhancing our service offerings in the petroleum sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with fuel dispensers and their components.
  • Software Management: Install, troubleshoot, and upgrade Point of Sale (POS) software.
  • Technical Support: Provide assistance with PCs and software installations.
  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor and ensure the accuracy of parts inventory.
  • Repair Analysis: Analyze and repair electronic and mechanical issues as necessary.
  • Equipment Installation: Install, program, and test new petroleum equipment.
  • Customer Communication: Effectively explain technical issues to customers in layman's terms.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional demeanor and punctuality during service calls.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in petroleum service.
  • Certification in Gilbarco or Wayne dispenser service is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Willingness to learn industry-specific terminology and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass required physical examinations.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds.
  • Position involves physical activities such as bending, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Exemplary integrity and professional ethics.
  • Familiarity with internet mapping and dispatch software.
  • Capability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Proficient in multitasking and meeting project deadlines.
Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with a standard Monday to Friday workweek.
