Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is $115,000.

Position Summary:
The Senior Performance Analyst will be integral to the VNA Performance Team, focusing on enhancing efficiency and growth across various business units and corporate functions. Reporting to a Manager or Director, the analyst will tackle a variety of operational and technical challenges related to municipal and industrial water utility operations, hazardous waste management, and energy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management and Visualization:
    • Analyze intricate datasets to identify trends and convert raw data into actionable insights.
    • Create and maintain dynamic business intelligence dashboards and reports using tools like Google Looker and Power BI.
    • Develop and oversee data transformation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency across BI systems.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide insightful recommendations.
  • Project Delivery Support:
    • Identify opportunities for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
    • Synthesize information from various sources to derive meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
    • Structure client documents with a clear narrative tailored to the audience.
    • Deliver presentations to stakeholders.
    • Work alongside client teams to implement and monitor recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering or Data Science.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of business intelligence, data analysis techniques, and data visualization principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages relevant to data analytics (e.g., SQL, R, Python).
  • Experience with BI tools, particularly Power BI and Looker Studio.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Suite.

Certifications:
Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification and Lean Six Sigma certifications are advantageous.

Work Environment:
This role may require travel up to 30% of the time.
