Job Overview

The Plant Accountant is a critical role within our organization, responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, including month-end processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll, sales commissions, and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries and account documentation for business transactions.
  • Prepare General Ledger Account and Bank Reconciliation.
  • Develop and prepare financial statements and reports to summarize the company's financial position, including:
  • Month-end reporting.
  • 8th day reporting.
  • Gainshare analysis.
  • Site Communication meeting information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Solid understanding of accounting concepts and GAAP.
  • Proven track record of working in a team environment with various departments.
  • Experience working with an ERP system.
  • Three (3) years of Plant Manufacturing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Packaging industry experience.
  • IBM i AS400 experience.
