As a Donation Processing Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and cleaning the donation area at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Assisting donors with the receipt of donated items and providing receipts.
  • Maintaining all reports and paperwork as instructed by your supervisor.
  • Separating and sorting donated materials into designated containers, following your supervisor's instructions.
  • Assisting TSA personnel with loading donations onto trucks when needed.
  • Informing your supervisor of necessary items before they run out (e.g., brooms, receipts, totes, carts, etc.).
  • Securing and locking the donation area at the end of each shift.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must pass a background check, which includes Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry checks.
  • Ability to read and write and understand both written and verbal instructions.
  • Effective communication skills with management, fellow employees, customers, and donors.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist intermittently or continuously.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks, and miscellaneous carts.
  • Ability to move product up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule:

Our stores operate seven days a week. Work schedules are determined by management, and employees must be flexible to ensure adequate store coverage. Full-time associates may be scheduled for any full-time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
